I like my humor dry and my martinis dirty. I think video games peaked at 16 bit. I will fail any song on Rock Band at medium difficulty. When I was your age, I walked 15 miles each way to and from school. Uphill. In the snow. I like really bad reality tv more than I care to admit.
I don't quite get when paragraph breaks should be used. I prefer to watch movies at home, but go for the popcorn. Apparently I overpronounce the letter "T".
I can't stand lying. But I do think exaggeration is an art form.
I once caught a 14 foot catfish.
I enjoy my time with myself, but wouldn't mind finding someone amazing to spend time with. I think that makes a decent segue to close my self summary.

I'm a pretty motivated self sufficient person. Love to read, paint, play music (drums, guitar, bass), ride motorcycles, hit an art museum, cook (steak and potatoes to sushi. especially desserts). Love the outdoors, hiking, camping, rock climbing, surfing, rollerblading, snowboarding, walking my dog and tossing the ball. Nothing like catching a baseball game when it's in season. Very much into my friends and family. I have no kids, so I like spending time with my nephew and friends kids (cause you can take em back when they're cranky ;) I love dogs, the bigger and more slobbery the better. Their just like big teddy bears with hears of gold. Being with people makes me the happiest, but every now and then I need time alone to regroup, read a book, and do 'my thing'. So there's the pedigree stuff...

I hate people who judge a book by it's cover. Drives me nuts. It's one thing to sit on a bench in a park and people watch and make up funny 'back stories' of peoples lives in your mind, or with a friend, just in jest for a laugh. It's another when people look at you and just assume what you are, how much you make, what you do, etc. I once went in to by a new car at an Infinity dealer dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, at that time sporting dyed hair, half sleeve tats, chain wallet, and didn't get the time of day and the first question was 'how much do you have to put down?'. I've learned over the years the most genuine people often look like what you'd least expect. Greasy looking bikers with MBA's... The homeless looking guy at the end of the bar who sold an IPO for $50 million... The guy in the Prada suit driving a Porsche with $16 in his checking account... For me at least, I like getting to know someone first. I always seem to be surprised at what's under the surface if you just ask and take the time to listen and I suppose I expect the same from others.

I can say also I don't probably look or feel my age. (you'd have to make the call on the looks, but I don't feel it). I still like to do juvenile stuff every now and again, riding my bike thru a KFC drive thru to order nothing but a napkin, riding my skateboard thru the mall while being chased by Paul Blart Mall Cop on his Segway with his bike helmet and maglight, crashing a conference at a hotel and sitting in on it (and taking full advantage of the buffet afterwords), test driving cars I can't afford (although the aforementioned Infinity was not the case ;), making a scene at the grocery store with an ex once over what kind of coffee beans to buy just to watch people's reactions (that one was hard to keep a straight face thru on both our parts but so worth the payoff). It may seem childish to some, a waste of people's time, or even cruel maybe, but no one ever gets hurt and it's just fun sometimes to test your limits. See what you are capable of doing when you're somewhat scared or uncomfortable. On the other hand, buying a strangers lunch or coffee just because you can, helping an elderly lady off the bus, letting someone cut in line who's in a hurry, dropping everything no matter what to help a friend, taking in an abused dog and spending $2000 in surgeries to better it's quality of life, that's how you balance it all out.

I don't really expect much from this online thing. Never really tried it until now. Just pretty sick of trying to meet people in the same ways as everyone else. Read a few 'journals' on this of some women and laughed SO HARD at some of the stories of what guys do to impress women, or in many cases the lengths they go to NOT impress them it seems. Seen enough 'Xtreme Dating' lately to know the horrors of blind dates. I know who I am and what I have to offer someone and I'm happy with both.

i go to school full time and work full time. i still make plenty of time to have fun. I have fun in whatever i am doing. I like to be active and i like summer time in AZ quite a bit just because i like going to the lake and river and anything that has to do with the water. I like to spend time in the gym, it's my get away from everything. I'm pretty outgoing and can make conversation about anything( who really likes those awkward moments of silence). I do drink occasionally and i don't see anything wrong with getting drunk. I don't like people who can't be sraight forward when it comes to things they want in life and always worry about what other people think.

I was in the Air Force for a little over ten years. I am currently trying to get through prerequisites so I can apply to nursing school, to become a RN. I have a very close knit, large family and I love spending time with them. I love kids and animals. I'm very sarcastic. I love the outdoors, so most of my hobbies are outdoor activities. Horseback riding, camping, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and swimming. I also play poker quite a bit. Currently I am ranked 7th i the league I play with, but that can change at any moment. I also love going to sporting events. My favorites are baseball and college football, but I am starting to really like hockey and UFC. I also like going to the shooting range. Actually, I love it. Mainly I try to be as precise as I can, but it does also have an element of stress relief. I also love watching movies, new or old, theater or just chilling out on the couch. I also like to play pool (although I'm bad at it) and just kicking back with friends at the pub or bar.

I love a large variety of music. Pretty much anything from classical to Rob Zombie. I grew up on Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller (thanks Dad), Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline (thanks Mom), and Journey, David Bowie, B-52's, REM, and any other 80's band (MTV in the 80's thanks to my sisters, LOL). I also love country music (not all of it, but quite a bit of it) and love to go country dancing.

Now, the hard part...what I'm looking for in someone. The perfect match would be someone who likes some of the same hobbies that I like, but also has other interests that they are willing to share. New activities always interest me and I'm usually willing to try anything at least once. The person will definitely have to like being outside. If your idea of camping is getting a cabin in Flagstaff for the weekend (although, that is a nice getaway), we probably won't see eye to eye when it comes to fun. To me, camping is pitching a tent, eating fish that you catch, etc. Another must would be that you must be sociable. I like spending time with friends, family, and going out in public. There are those that may be shy and those that may be hermits. Shyness can be overcome. Being a hermit, on the other hand, probably wouldn't work out well, at least not for me. I deal with the public often and love meeting new people and meeting up with friends.

I am a really cool person to know. I care for my friends and always try to be there. I do have a darker side that likes to have fun and can be up for an adventure. I love to laugh and can be silly at times.

Well I just moved to Arizona with my dad, we live in El Mirage, maybe a couple blocks away from Surprise. I have recently gotten out of a long term relationship that didn't exactly turn out as I had hoped. So it's time to move on and find that right person for me. I am finished with school (finally!), love to travel, and do new interesting things.

I live out in Surprise, which surprisingly doesn't seem to have a lot of single people that are into the same things as me. As my friends tell me (whom are spread out across the country of course), I need to move to a new place or city that has things to do that are of more interest to me.

I love cultural events, traveling to new places, and overcoming those pesky fears. A good example is the fear of guns. My previous partner had a pistol from her time being married before me, and it honestly freaked me out. I decided to overcome this fear and just went an purchased a shotgun and started practice shooting. Now I am over the fear of guns and I've found a new activity that keeps me from spending time in front of the TV.

Politically, I am a mixed bag. Every test I take tells me I am a social liberal but an economic conservative. Thus, I'm a moderate. People who lean too far in either the left or right directions really annoy me. To me, it's an indication of a lack of listening skills.

Religion? I used to think I was atheist, but I realized I am more agnostic since I don't deny the possibility of a god.

I've spent a lot of my time from 16 to about 26 going out to clubs, raves, parties, etc. I am pretty sure I'm too old for this so I'm trying to branch out into newer activities. Hello to all. I am currently a junior at ASU studying accounting. I am a pretty easy going person and a bit of a nerd. I enjoy messing around with electronics and playing PC games, especially strategy and adventure games (games with a decent story or games that require a brain). I also enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction and spend alot of time on the internet reading the news. I also read lots of finance and economics blogs and have an interest in economics (or tea-leaf reading, as that is a good description of modern economics).

I enjoy classic rock and classical music. Pink Floyd is my favorite to listen too. I enjoy watching most sports to varying degrees, though my favorite is hockey. I try and go to Coyotes games as much as I can. I don't do drugs or drink, though I don't have an issue with people who do the latter. I don't have pets and would not mind them if they were well behaved except for the fact that I have been cursed with allergies for just about anything with fur.

This is sure to sell me well, but I've always been a bit of a loner. I am shy and can feel uncomfortable socializing with others. I have very little in the way of friends. For the last year and a half I have been trying to turn my life around. I pulled myself out of depression and found myself a direction in life to go, lost weight and improved both my mental and physical health. Ummm I am always horrible at these things. well I am an AZ native raised on the west side but looking to move to Tempe one day. I went to school and wanted to be a firefighter EMT/paramedic but certain circumstances in my life prevented that, so option two, I became a union pipefitter currently serving my last year of my 5yr apprenticeship. I am an outdoors person, camping hiking backpacking. I also enjoy vacations as well mostly like to go to San Diego mission bay or Vegas.
